Lovin Asheville!
Hi everybody!
We've only settled here in June 2007 and it felt like home the moment we arrived.
After 3 years of travelling around the U.S. looking for the best place to live, this is it!
Being a military brat, I've lived in many different places in the world including England, Ireland, Newfoundland, Germany, Virginia, Mississippi, Illinois, Florida and California. Since Donna and I are also avid travellers we have visited many countries in Europe, stomped the carribean, traversed Mexico and Canada and been all over the U.S. on our touring motorcycles and in our RV.
I can say with great authority that Asheville is by far the best place to live with great people.
This whole lighten up event is wonderful and I'm completely blown away that over 2,000 people are enrolled, what with such a small population in the area. I'm really impressed!
