This workout routine is an all cardiovascular workout you can do at the gym or home if you have the equipment. You may use a treadmill or jog outside for your first exercise. Choose speeds that are challenging and try to improve each time. Because these are 30 minute workouts your rest time should be no longer than one minute between exercises.

What a great time of the year to find that Dr Russel Sher at Asheville Center for Health Excellence is running a free comprehensive initial consultation. Russel is not your typical chiropractic though quite capable in that art and science, he's taken it to the next level through expanding his training in homeopathy, herbs and other unique treatment modalities that few are trained sufficiently to offer.
Dr. Russel Sher is a 1986 graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic and has practiced integr…

How is everyone doing with their exercise program? Hopefully, everyone is taking advantage of the nice warm weather to take a hike on the trails instead of walking on the treadmill. It is good to change up your exercise routine especially if you have not seen in any weight loss recently. It is easy to get discouraged but don't give up. Remember you are in this for the long haul and there will be small bumps in the road when you aren't watching what you eat as carefully as you did before or you h…

Second Month's Weigh In for our team brought a total loss of
17lbs.
That is a great weight loss! The 1st months weigh in brought a total loss of 22lbs....So our grand total loss is 39lbs so far!!
That being said.... I have been so sick, one thing right after another this month. In the beginning of the month I was losing well and was 3lbs down, making me 4lbs from my 1st major goal. I got sick and gained my 3lbs right back...so I started this month at the exact same weight I began last…

I TRIED ON MY WEDDING DRESS SATURDAY AND IT MADE ME SAD. AS I HAVE SAID BEFORE I AM NOT SUCCEEDING IN THIS DIET THE WAY I HAD PLANNED. MY BEAUTIFUL DRESS LOOKS LIKE I COULD USE IT AS A COMFORTER AFTER THE WEDDING. I WOULD POST IT BUT HE MIGHT SEE.
I DON’T KNOW WHAT TO DO. THE STRESS EATING IS AN ISSUE BUT IT’S NOT THE BIG ONE.
THE BIG ISSUE IS –
I AM NOT EXCECISING. THE ONLY TIME I HAVE AVAILABLE T

When you exercise while shedding weight, you will not only tone your
muscles but it will help your skin from getting too saggy as well. Now,
I'm not talking about 3lb hand weights, I'm talking more around 8lb and
up. It's great to lose weight, but I often come across those who are
not exercising at the same time. Which can just turn you into a food
burning machine!
Fitness is not just hopping on the treadmill and chugging along for 30
minutes. You are only burninig about 250-300 calor…

OK, so I was yapping with one of my associates today about portion sizes/control, caloric input vs/energy output & the sociology & history of food consumption overall. Ya see, back when they churned butter, milked cows, walked with water from a well & scrubbed thir own clothes with a washboard, our ancestors were putting out so much more energy than they were eating. Sure the common cold could kill them, but cholesterol and other things that are killing us today due

I HAVE ALL THESE HUGE PLANS THIS YEAR! IN THE FIRST SIX
MONTHS. I’M LOSING MY MIND. IT SEEMS LIKE EVERY TIME I GET SOMETHING FIGURED OUT,
ONE SMALL DETAIL THROWS THE WHOLE THING OUT THE WINDOW AND I HAVE TO START FROM
SCRATCH. I DON’T USUALLY BLOG ABOUT PERSONAL THINGS. I JUST FEEL LIKE MAYBE IF
I PUT IT OUT THERE, MAYBE IT’LL RELEASE SOME OF MY PENT UP TENSION. WHO KNOWS?
I’M GETTING MARRIED, HOPEFULLY ON APRIL 26TH, WHICH IS A WONDERFUL THING. UNTIL I REALIZE

This weekend I picked up a special interest publication of Better Homes & Gardens titled "Diet 2008". If you have not seen this in your local grocery store or newsstand, I recommend looking for it. It is the best weight management tool I have ever seen, complete with menus, exercises, fast food calorie counters, success stories including profiles from the Biggest Losers and the Duchess of York's Weight Loss Journey. I have a copy in my office at AC-T if any coworkers want to browse throug

Hi everybody!
We've only settled here in June 2007 and it felt like home the moment we arrived.
After 3 years of travelling around the U.S. looking for the best place to live, this is it!
Being a military brat, I've lived in many different places in the world including England, Ireland, Newfoundland, Germany, Virginia, Mississippi, Illinois, Florida and California. Since Donna and I are also avid travellers we have visited many countries in Europe, stomped the carribea…

OK, so the past couple weeks I had been on a raw food cleanse, lost 8 lbs (which I triumphantly posted on my myspace as a bulletin might I add). Getting up early without an alarm, getting to work earlier, feeling more vibrant and alive during the day. No Coca Colas, no candy. Just waters and pure organic crystallized ginger or dates with coconut (organic and FABULOUS from Earth Fare, BTW) were my "sugar fix" replacements. I felt better than I had in a DECADE!!!!! It is amazing what dietary ch

I am now my cat's favorite person.
I've been eating a lot of tuna fish since I began this weight loss challenge, because it's cheaper than salmon, and I actually like the way it tastes. According to my husband, this makes me some sort of weird, tuna-loving alien creature. Earth people don't like tuna, in his opinion.
But cats, that's a different story. Cats love tuna.
The first time I made a tuna salad sandwich, our cat went absolutely crazy. He tried to scale the c…
