Octoberfest in Munich
On my 54th birthday (I am the first male in 4 generations to live past 53), we celebrated with friends at the Octoberfest in Munich, Germany and spent a couple of weeks enjoying Germany and the Netherlands. It was a BLAST and these people know how to make beer!

Ahhh Octoberfest - I miss it dearly :) Born in Iserlohn Germany and spent a great deal of my childhood in Lahr Germany. Competed in the Army National Hockey Championships in 1989 taking the Silver home to Petawawa Ont. where I was based at the Special Services Force (SSF) base as an Airborne Artillery Paratrooper.
